Cafe Môr has moved to a new and exciting location - and our Iconic Seaweed Boat, The Josie June, has anchored at The Old Point House, Angle, SA71 5AS, only a few minutes drive away from Freshwater West.

In the best beer garden in the world over looking East Angle Bay, you will find Café Môr! Our one-of-a-kind, solar powered seaweed, boat kitchen! Here we serve award winning street food, such as lobster rolls, catch of the day, gourmet burgers and delicious crab rolls, all served with a seaweed twist! Oh and don’t forget the amazing Beach Brownies and Sea Spiced Ginger Cake! We also serve hot drinks and an amazing hot chocolate, laced with Barti rum!

To compliment Café Môr we have a wonderfully quirky beach bar with plenty of choice of refreshments and serving locally produced ales and spirits. You will also find generous and comfortable seating areas or if you prefer keeping the beach vibe, feel free to bring your own rug and soak up the sunshine on our lawn.

Both Café Môr and our Beach Bar have wonderful uninterrupted view across East Angle Bay. When the tide is out there are steps leading to direct access onto the beach and the coastal path runs straight in front of us, so you can enjoy a scenic stroll before tucking into our delicious food and drinks.

We will be hosting lots of outdoor events during the Spring and Summer months, including live music, so please check back for details (What’s On page) and follow us on Facebook

Award-winning street food

Located in a beautiful position, on the fantastic Pembrokeshire coast, you'll find our award-winning Cafe Môr anchored.

Môr means Sea in Welsh.

Cafe Môr started life in our little blue beach shack. We then set sail in Josie June, our converted solar-powered boat kitchen and now we also have our solar-powered food truck, affectionally known as "Moby".

Our menu

Our passion is for great seafood, hand-picked local seaweed and celebrating classic Welsh dishes, with a modern twist.

Please note that we can get really busy! so please be patient with our crew, we want everyone to have the best food and best experience we can give. We are a mobile seaweed kitchen! So we may experience technical difficulties or sell out of menu items occasionally, or we may have to batten down the hatches and retreat in bad weather, but we do our best to deliver.

To avoid the queues, its best to plan ahead and arrive early. If you have any specific dietary requirements or are planning to visit in a large group, please call us first, so we can prepare too.

We leave daily messages on our mobile phone and you can find more information and news by following our social media pages.

Our story

In 2011 our little humble beach shack hit the street food scene and we haven't looked back since! 2011 also saw us awarded "Best of the Best" at the British Street Food Awards.

In 2014 we won the BBC Food and Farming Award for "Best Street Food/Takeaway in the UK". In 2016 we were asked to represent Wales in Japan to cook our famous lobster rolls, drenched in Welsh Sea Black Butter. These are just a few of the awards we have won, which have seen Cafe Môr visit Glastonbury Festival, Cater for Olympians in 2012 in the Olympic Village and, of course, our amazing trip to Japan.

In 2017 the decision was made to leave festivals and travelling behind and take up seasonal residency at Freshwater West.

2022 - Sadly we have bid farewell to Freshwater West after 10 happy years.

The Josie June (our iconic seaweed boat kitchen) has now anchored at The Old Point House, Angle, SA71 5AS and is now open March/April - October.
